Unit shipped from Autosheperd and arrived in a few days.
It was packed and protected very well.
I opened the box and used it to lay on doing the install.
That kept me and the bars from getting scratched up.
It didn't stop the mosquitos!
I did the install by myself using 6X6 blocks and small pieces of wood shims.
It balances on them well with the monting brackets at just the right angle for attaching.
You need a deep 9/16" and a deep 1/2" inch and 9/16" shallow sockets and 6"
inch extensions. Where and when will be obvious.
I'd also suggest some BLUE LOCKTITE as the carraige bolts do not have locknuts or lock washers.
Locate the nut plates before you try to raise the bars in place as you can't get to the area when the bar is in place.
Start out by installing loosely one carraige bolt in each hole (Shallow socket), then install
loosely the bolts in each nut plate. Then install the rest of the carraige bolts
and increasingly tighten both the bolts and carraige bolts until it is all the way up.

I'm 220+ and see only a small amount of flex when I bounce on the steps.
They look good and are a compliment to my black truck.

I would do it again knowing what I know now.
