GMAX GM44S SPC multi-color modular snowmobile helmet. Comes with electric snow shield, power cord and breath box. This is a modular snowmobile helmet. The front of the helmet flips up. Has a one hand, easy to use, chin bar push to open mechanism, designed for easy use with snowmobile gloves on. DOT approved. Has a lightweight thermo-plastic alloy shell. SPC top front vents, interior and styro designed for controlled air flow. Additional ventilation provided by GMAX "D.E.V.S." adjustable "Dual Exhaust Venting System" Top, side and rear venting reduces fogging and sweating by allowing hot air to escape from the mouth area and top of head. To reduce fogging the adjustable chin vent directs air upward across the inside of the shield. Dupont Coolmax � comfort liner and cheek pads move the moisture away from your body and the fabric dries quickly. Removable and washable interior and adjustable cheek pads allow for more comfortable sizing.

First, I'm an experienced snowmobile and motorcycle rider. I've worn a lot of helmets. I purchased this helmet because I wanted to go to a modular type. I wear glassess and it's easier to gear up. The padding in this helmet works very well for putting on the glasses without fussing around. The fit is exactly as advertised. Helmet sizes vary by type and manufacturer. Use the size chart! My fit turned out perfectly. The helmet is snug, no wobble, there is good room around the ears so it doesn't feel crampt at the same time. The heated sheild works well. For the less mechanically inclined it would probably be nice if the instructions showed how to hook the wire to the battery terminals. They leave you to your own devices on this. That said, it takes just a couple of minutes to attach the wires. I tend to steam up helmet sheilds but with the ventillation and heated sheild I was warm and the sheild was clear. I put it to the test on a 50 mile ride in a blizzard, 16�F, 50 MPH gusts and horizontal snow. I was warm and the sheild was clear. I've been riding with this for a few weeks now and really like it. I would definitely recommend this helmet.
