2006-2009 Suzuki Boulevard M109R LED TailLights Brake Tail Lights with Integrated Turn Signals Indicators Smoke Motorcycle Review

I bought this light for a friend's 2007 M109 Boulevard. Once I received it, the installation looked was pretty simple. Connect the brake/running light harness to the stock plug and splice the two yellow wires to the stock turn signal wires. That was the only good thing about this product. Once connected, the left and right turn signals worked perfectly as did the running light. However, the brake light did not work. I contacted the seller, Kapsco-Moto, and they, at first, were very helpful. I was told that on certain year M109's two wires on the harness had to be switched. This meant the brake light is always activated and the running light only lights up when the brake is pressed, but since the brake light is brighter than the running there seems to be no change. Taking their advice, I switched the green and the red wire and the light worked the way it was suppose to. Due to their initial helpfulness, I gave the seller a 5 star rating. I buttoned up the bike and set it aside as we were heading to Myrtle Beach from D.C. a few days later. The bike was trailered down to Myrtle Beach and once we got there we immediately went for a ride...the light still working properly. The next day, as we were sitting at a stop light, I noticed that the brake light on my friend's bike was not illuminated. I figured he just did not have the brake pressed. However, as we rode more in stop and go traffic, the brake light still was not coming on. We pulled over to check to make sure no wires were pinched since he had put his passenger seat on. No wires were anywhere near the seat. The next day, not only was the brake light still not working but then I notice that a few of the bulbs were flickering/burnt out. I e-mailed Kapsco-Moto regarding this and asked if a replacement could be shipped or a full refund. They informed me that "unfortunately we cannot offer you a full refund on this item. What I can do is offer you a replacement taillight at half off." WTF?!?! Why would I pay more money for another light when the original one stopped working after only a few HOURS of riding?! I responded back telling them this was unacceptable to which I have not received a response. I have also noticed that now they have listed this item as "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." Hmmmm...how convenient. If or when this item becomes available again, stay as far away from it as possible. I only wish I could take back that positive rating I gave them.
