Vortex 491AZR-49 Red 49-Tooth Rear Sprocket Review

I wanted to change my bike from the massive 530 chain down to a 520 so I went with this Vortex 491AZR-49T and a Vortex 15T 3270 front sprocket. I lost a lot of weight by performing this upgrade and I'm really happy with the results.

So that is -1/+1 change I did from stock on my ZZR600, the results being faster acceleration but lower top speed (expected). This is my daily rider so I wanted to have acceleration over top-speed, thus the change. My RPMs have gone up about 1000 when doing 70mph on the freeways, which equates to about 1.5mpg loss.

The color on this sprocket is a deeper red that I expected, which is perfect considering the paint on the ZZR600. Love the color and i hope the aluminum holds up well.
