I believe these were made specifically for the VTX 1300 C. A lot of people have all noticed the drag bar lean. This design is great for a bar hopper boulevard bike and around town riding. But if you are going to spend a little time on it and run down the road for a few or up a nice ride with your buddies out of town for a while, you might want that little bit of pull back to take the pressure off of the shoulders and lower back. Yes, the cables that are attached to your bars with the plastic strips will have to come out to make this work. But does not seem to be adding any tension to the cables or catch. I did notice if you crank the bars all the way they will come back and touch the front of the speedometer, but not enough to hurt anything or hit the tank. You can install these if you have a large wrench and a little strength. Otherwise if you are not comfortable or have the tools your local bike shop will have no problem throwing these on.
