I just bought these boots before my epic journey 2012 commenced and absolutely love them. They are well worth the money and are just waterproof enough to ride in heavy rainfall, yet allow significant airflow. After just over 6,000 miles from hot Naples, Italy, up through the alps through Russia and Finland before returning to Italy over three weeks, I can say that these boots really are the best I've ever owned and used for motorcycling. The only thing I added was a set of Dr. Scholl's gel inserts for extra cushioning while walking, which I did much of during the trip. Get these boots if you want high quality leather and great construction.
