We designed the MX L FRAME to fit over your prescription glasses so you can leave the contacts in their case. These goggles include proven design features like flexible urethane construction, a non-slip silicone treated strap, triple-layer face foam with moisture wicking, and the clarity of an optically pure LEXAN lens. It's fully compatible with an ATFM half mask and the Oakley standard tearoff system (sold separately). This is a 2011 Model.

These are great over the glasses goggles. They have a "notch" molded in each side to accommodate the temples on glasses. This relieves any inward/sideways pressure on the glasses. I tried on several brands of goggles at a huge motorcycle store and these were recommended by the salesman. They were by far the best fit. I can get other name brand goggles wholesale but still bought these at retail. We use "Quick Strap" goggle straps so we can peel off our goggles with one hand at a stop. This is very handy to allow defogging of your glasses on really humid days. The Oakley L series has a wider opening that allows us to pull off the goggles without pulling on the glass frames. I also cut a little of the foam edge at a 45 deg. angle to sort of "round" the foam edge to further aid quick on/off transitions.I am on the third year with this pair. I've replaced the lens once but the lens is polycarbonate so the first one was still in more than acceptable condition. Don't let the salesman tell you all Oakley lens are the same. The "L" lens has different notches than most Oakleys. The lens has an anti-fog coating and the goggles "breath" well but your glasses (not the goggle) may still fog slightly at a stop but good ventilation on the part of the Oakley's foam venting will quickly clear them.
