The good is that it appears good quality after wearing several times, the bad is that you have to pretty much remove your shoes to put them on, which is not a good thing on the side of the road if you are already in the rain. If you leave the house/hotel with them on you can plan for that. Seemed to work great with the Sentinel Jacket. Fits over heavy jeans but you would not fit over chaps as well.
