I saw these bars online and knew they were a MUST HAVE for my customized Harley. A simple thing like handlebars so changed the way my bike looks from the head-on view. they look every bit as cool on the bike as you would think, based on how great they look in the picture.

I wasn't sure I'd like them when I installed them, though. My old bars were the traditional ape-hangers where your hand position is flat horizontal. On these it's at a dropped angle that is downward and inward and is somewhat uncomfortable on your wrists when riding (especially when hitting the turn signals). I know they are "vintage bars" meaning the majority of riders who use them will be doing hand signal and have the stripped chopper type setup, but for us in bigger cities with lots of idiots on the road who want to stay alive and utilize all the safety features to increase our survival odds, we still use flashers.

My suggestion to the designer would be to change either the inward angle out some or decrease the downward angle. Either one would suffice to reduce the awkward "feel".

BUT, a couple rides and it's not a show-stopper and the look aspect is more than a pay-off. So, I gave four out of five stars because they look SICK!
