Must have for the 696. The only real "issue" I have with it is that it's unfinished metal and not painted. Also, ran into a problem with 4 screws that were not long enough for what they were described to be used for, luckily I had a generic bolt set that fixed my problem without a trip to a home improvement store. Instructions were easy enough to follow. Improved the look of my bike by 100%.
