Now that I finally have the mirrors installed, they look great and work exactly as well as you would expect small mirror that are set fairly wide would work.

The difficultly I had with fitting them was somewhat self imposed, I run allow motocross bars and I forgot that the internal diameter of the bars is somewhat smaller than a normal bar. This meant that the nuts and the rubber grommets are simply too large.

My first attempt at correcting this issue included smaller nuts and some rubber pipe. This barely worked, although the mirror mounts were fairly solid, they moved around way too much for my liking.

My second attempt was similar, I used a stiffer rubber pipe. This was better, but the mirrors still moved around way too much.

Finally I realized that I could move all of the controls inboard a small amount and mount the mirrors onto the end of the bars directly.

This method works really nicely, the mirrors are solid and stable and they do not move at speed.

The mirrors are a little small, but I knew that, but they work surprisingly well. I am happy with them now I solved the mounting issues...
