I got the helmet cause I thought the pilot look was cool. Its DOT approved and low priced, but those are the only nice things I can really say. On the way to work at only 30-40 mph the wind in my eyes was ridiculous (with the shield down as far as it goes). I had to pull over and put on goggles. Its silly to have a face shield and still have to wear glasses/goggles underneath. Its also very loud with wind noise. I haven't taken it out on the the freeway yet, but I can only imagine it gets worse.Now the real bummer- it looks silly. It sits very high up on your head, not down and around. My buddies at work said it looked like the "aliens" head. Thats another thing, the picture doesnt really show it but its not completely round, it kind of comes to a point in the upper back. I mean, on your head it looks really big. Silly big. Think power rangers costume big.
So despite looking cool while sitting on the shelf, in use it kind of sucks AND doesnt look cool on your head. Id have to recommend AGAINST this helmet.
